The bundle combines Volume 1 on black-vinyl 33 rpm LP with the new ArchiveOne CD™ Digipack edition: two different physical formats for the same chapter of the Bandstand U.S.A. broadcasts from Café Bohemia in Greenwich Village.

ArchiveOne CD™ — limited edition

The ArchiveOne CD™ included in the bundle is part of the total run of 100 copies. It is not standard industrial mass replication: each copy is made individually according to the ONE-TO-ONE REAL-TIME AUDIOPHILE TRANSFER principle.

Bundle availability therefore depends on both the LP and the ArchiveOne CD™ being in stock.

The Café Bohemia document

Volume 1 documents the Miles Davis Quintet with John Coltrane, Red Garland, Paul Chambers and Philly Joe Jones. The recordings come from Mutual Network broadcasts made at Café Bohemia and retain the original radio announcements and voice-overs as part of the historical document.

The editorial and audio work includes historical research, source reconstruction, speed correction & remastering by Enrico Merlin, with final audio supervision by Marco Lincetto — Velut Luna.
