It is surprising that, despite downloads and mp3s, the demand for vinyl is constantly growing. Stockfisch has therefore decided to publish "Vinyl Collection vol. 2", the second volume of the Vinyl Collection series containing ten selected tracks from the repertoire of the German label. On this album we find available for the first time on vinyl "That Train" by Ewen Carruthers, a heartfelt tribute to the English singer-songwriter who passed away in 2010, recorded by Allan Taylor in the famous Porsche/Burmester session. The tracklist also includes some songs by the melancholic Irish singer-songwriter living in Canada Paul O'Brien, the Australian folk duo Carl & Parissa and others from David Munyon's album "Pretty Blue". We continue with the unreleased track from Katja Maria Werker's first album on Stockfisch, "Mitten im Sturm", a guitar piece played by the virtuoso Ralf Illenberger who recorded with the German label in the 70s, a wonderful song from Paul Stephenson's third album and also an unreleased track by the exceptional guitarist Chris Jones, who sadly passed away in 2005.
