Suono Selvatico is a project that aims to highlight the vital (wild, in fact) side of making music: the Francesco Pinetti Ensemble consists of eight musicians (mostly very young) and is also an ensemble of people who share this positive aspect of playing together. The arrangements of the pieces, in addition to being influenced by many stylistic influences that prevent this music from being easily labeled, give each piece a particular character while always focusing on highlighting these two aspects:
1. the "natural" sound of the ensemble, meaning the combination of instrumental timbres mixed in an unusual way
2. the "wild" aspect of producing sound, which means playing simple things that do not require too much thought to be understood. The listener is drawn into this wild environment (but not hostile and violent, quite the opposite) to rediscover their wild dimension, to share a bit of freedom that this music wants to bring through its inspiration from nature. One of the pieces, for example, features the melody sung by a blackbird in spring without any modification (Merland). It's an "easy" listen, therefore, which often leaves a lasting impression on the wilder side of the listener.
