Description

Atom Heart Mother is the fifth studio album by the legendary band Pink Floyd, originally released in October 1970. Recorded at London's iconic Abbey Road Studios, this album marked an innovative shift in the band's sound thanks to the inclusion of an orchestra, a sonic experiment that greatly expanded their musical possibilities. The album represented a milestone in Pink Floyd's career, becoming their first to reach number one in the UK. Its complex compositional structure and orchestral arrangements make Atom Heart Mother a fundamental work for understanding the evolution of progressive rock and musical experimentation of the 1970s.
