Programme notes
The music of Adriano Lincetto never aligned with the dictates of the dominant "musical currents" of the 20th century.
Lincetto always composed following his own idea of beauty, melody and harmony. His music is tonal, and at times it does not fail to pay homage to those composers who, even unconsciously, were a source of inspiration, from Debussy and Ravel to Bartok and Stravinsky.
It is absolute and timeless music, often created to satisfy the requests for "new music" from musician friends who then became its first interpreters, as in the case of this album Enzo Caroli and Alessio Benedettelli and the lifelong friend Giovanni Guglielmo.
Music to be savored for its inherent beauty and without seeking any pseudo-cultural aftertaste, typical of power cliques linked more to political power than to Music understood in an absolute sense.
