Imagenes de Tango | Modern Saxophone Quartet

Imagenes de Tango

The quartet joins Simone Zanchini for a tango programme featuring compositions by Astor Piazzolla, Pepito Ros and Gustavo Toker and original arrangements. Oblivion and Libertango are connected by a long bandoneon cadenza: at the performer’s request, a small imperfection was kept as a mark of the spontaneity of the performance.
