Karl Böhm conducts Beethoven’s Symphony No. 7 in A major, Op. 92 with the Wiener Philharmoniker and two performances of the Egmont Overture, Op. 84, with the Wiener Philharmoniker and Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden.

Recordings

The Seventh places rhythmic drive and formal continuity at the centre; the two performances of Egmont allow a comparison between different orchestral forces under the same conductor.
