In the Mass in C major, Karl Richter leads the Munich Bach Orchestra and four soloists—Gundula Janowitz, Julia Hamari, Horst Laubenthal, and Ernst Gerold Schramm—in a sacred homage to classical rigor, where the balance between strings and voices highlights formal clarity and emotional warmth, conveying the liturgical structure with elegant depth and offering an immersive experience.
