A tribute to Italian Baroque, to Antonio Caldara and his 8-voice Gloria transcribed, performed, and recorded as a WORLD PREMIERE, a masterpiece of pompous Venetian sacredness, which we wanted to juxtapose with Ottorino Respighi's wonderful Lauda. Two centuries later, the Bolognese composer provides a perfect example of a reinterpretation of medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque music combined. A way to reiterate the strong link between Baroque and the twentieth century, always a great source of inspiration.
