Recordings
The recording was made at Barking Town Hall, London, on 23–24 November 1970, after a concert performance in October of the same year.
The interpretation highlights the chamber-like transparency of many sections and prepares the vocal finale “Das himmlische Leben”, sung by Margaret Price.

What are DSD and DXD?
