“Alpe Adria” Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, conductor Luigi Pistore, Leonora Armellini piano solo, Davide Alogna violin solo.

The “Alpe Adria” Youth Philharmonic Orchestra founded in Gorizia by Maestro Luigi Pistore is composed of young musicians aged between 15 and 25 from all over Europe. Different schools, musical and interpretative traditions coexist within the orchestra and the universal language of music “spoken” by the young musicians becomes a privileged vehicle for knowledge, union and friendship between peoples. Since its foundation and during the various musical workshops held in Gorizia, more than 250 orchestra musicians and young soloists who have won prestigious international competitions have participated.
This CD was recorded entirely live on December 7, 2008 at the Auditorium in Gorizia, at the end of the 2008 Stage.
The program opens with a classic Rossini Symphony “written at the Conventello”.
The second piece allows us to appreciate for the second time on record the most brilliant piano talent of the last 10 years at least, that is Leonora Armellini, in her interpretation of Mozart's Concerto No. 27, KV595 for piano and orchestra.
The disc closes with the presence of another young and talented violin soloist, Davide Alogna, who presents us with the famous Romance in F Major by Ludwig van Beethoven and the prelude and Allegro in the style of Pugnani, written by the great virtuoso Fritz Kreisler.
The recording, personally supervised by Marco Lincetto, was carried out as usual in digital standard 24bit/88.2kHz.
