This recording marks the debut recital of the young soprano Diletta Rizzo Marin. Following her recent success at the Santander Festival, with her captivating and expressive voice, described by Enrique Franco, the leading music critic of the Spanish newspaper "El Pais," Diletta returns to perform this recital accompanied by pianist Alberto Boischio. The chosen repertoire ranges from Purcell's 17th-century works to one of the most popular zarzuelas of the 20th century, showcasing the freshness of her timbre, her musical and technical preparation, her stylistic versatility, and her intense expressiveness in singing in four different languages.
