Marco Falossi's new album allows us to enter the visionary musical poetics of the virtuoso pianist from Milan. It is a highly descriptive music, based on dazzling images, the result of sudden or deeply meditated intuitions, which often rely on the prodigious piano technique, taken to the extreme limits of the human capacity to move on the keyboard of the prince of instruments. Rarefied melodies alternate with sudden cascades of notes, which flow without interruption, but rigidly boxed in a precise and harmonious vision.
Falossi's interpretative talent is beyond doubt: in this CD we can also definitively appreciate his great compositional talent.
Recorded over the course of approximately two years, the project features 33 short compositions for solo piano written from the age of sixteen onwards, and three fascinating and captivating arrangements for string orchestra and piano, which feature Falossi's highly original rewritings of famous themes from the history of music: in this case Offenbach's Barcarolle, Tchaikovsky's Waltz of the Flowers from Swan Lake and Rossini's Thieving Magpie.

The excellent recording quality, based on a native recording in 24bit/88.2kHz digital standard, allows us to discover once again Marco Lincetto's great skill in recording the piano.
