At the age of two. It was 1963. I’ve always loved listening to records. Certainly because of my family history, with my father who was an illustrious classical pianist and refined composer, and my mother an opera singer. But certainly in those early years of childhood was great charm that aroused in me those black pavilions that ran on the old family turntable and from which came out my favorite fairy tales, narrated by great voices of great actors (I remember for example, Nando Gazzolo and his Little Red Riding Hood, and Hansel and Grethel, and Thumbelino, whose records I literally consumed...). Around the age of eight or nine, the Beatles' transition from fairy tales to singles at the end of their career (Obladì, Obladà), or to the unusual and unknown sound of the Theremin used in Beach Boys' Good Vibrations, was a very natural fact. And when I was 13 years old I started to discover Santana, Pink Floyd, Genesis, etc.etc.etc. , together with the reading of Suono and Stereoplay, it was just as natural to get involved with the images of the great reel recorders of the time, suitable for the then rare home studios. My first love, long dreamed and never owned, was the Tascam 80-8, eight tracks on half-inch tape. And the dream microphones were the Sennheiser, the MD441 and the MD421... But the real dream was "to study me"... which will remain for a long time only, in fact, a dream. When finally at 19 years I met the music of Jim Croce and I understood that... " Si-Can-Do!" (cit.) It was the moment when it became clear to me that sooner or later, I would do that work, I would "make records". And the rest is history... My culture, my tradition, my fundamental experiences, are ANALOG. Although right from the start of my professional career in 1992, I was a standard bearer of quality digital, I never abandoned the analog and above all I never abandoned the "analog mentality". So this ninth vinyl produced by me can only be the first of a series of "collections" of the best of the many beautiful music I have produced over the last 30 years with my Velut Luna. And on the cover you can’t find the word "Volume 1", just for luck. But if this format will be successful others will follow. In the meantime, enjoy listening to these authentic "children" of mine.

Rock. Original compositions by: Twenty Four Hours. Twenty Four Hours: Nico Colucci bass, Marco Lippe drums-fake echo, Paolo Lippe vocals-piano-synthetizers, Antonio Paparelli electric & acoustic guitars, bass. Giovanni Lombardi: lead guitar on “ Twenty-Four-Pink-Hot-Tentacles”. Michele Deflorio: percussion & tambourine on “ Twenty-Four-Pink-Hot-Tentacles”  Oval Dreams from Alberobello's Trulli! In 1998, an italian psychedelic-progressive rock band called Twenty Four Hours signed a contract with the French Progressive label Musea which published the third CD of the group, “OVAL DREAMS”. The album surprised public and critics for both music and the particular recording inside a trullo, the rural buiding of Puglia. The work was distributed almost exclusively outside Italy and sold out in USA, Japan, Corea and Russia and reprinted by the russian label Mals in 2009. Today, after 13 years from the first CD edition, Velut Luna offers an outstanding audiophile remixed edition, on a 180 gr. pure vinyl of amazing quality. It's not simply a “remastered” version of the old album, but a completely analog remixing starting from the original 8 track reel-to-reel, made with the outstanding mixer Soundcraft 3200 to the “TOP” of the analog master recordings, STUDER A816. A psyche-progressive rock with echoes from the typical sounds of those years with great attention to the audiophile public which will appreciate the uncommon ambience given by the vaulting of the trulli.

Original compositions by Vladimir Vysotsky. Translation by Sergio Secondiano Sacchi, Filippo Del Corno orchestration, Eugenio Finardi voice. Sentieri Selvaggi: Paola Fre flute, Mirco Ghirardini clarinet, Paolo Pasqualin vibraphone, Andrea Rebaudengo piano, Piercarlo Sacco violin, Paola Perardi cello, Carlo Boccadoro conductor.
