€ 350,00

It was April 2009, when I had the idea to realize a new "recording format" to enhance the value of the "chamber music", conceived in a wide range. Usually you can identify "chamber music" with a typical classical music, but I think that you can call "chamber music" any kind of music, conceived for few musicians (2, 3, maybe 4 at last), who play it in front of few people, in a small environment, quite different from the big theatres. So, not only classical music, but also jazz, rock, crossover... with no limit to imagination. So, what is "Velut Luna Rec Live"? It's a small happening, where few people (20 - 25 or little more) gather together in a small, good sounding environment; they sit down all around the musicians, so close that you cannot imagine it possible in a standard Theatre or Auditorium; so the feeling with Music and between the players and the audience is at the top. Few, selected, high grade microphones well set up, record and "fix" forever the magic of these happenings. During the recording of the digital and analog masters and the subsequent transfer to disc, the entire audio chain was unaltered. The signal was not passed through any processing device (i.e. compression or limiting) at any step during production. So, just for example, listening to track #07, you you will need to pump up the volume... for the very High Dynamic Range of this recording (there is no normalization inside this CD) In this CD I selected the takes, recorded along six years and twenty concerts, that represent me as well: a touch of female and male voice, a touch of rock, a touch of jazz and a touch of classical piano. And so... good listening ! Marco Lincetto

STRAVINSKIJ CHAMBER ORCHESTRA: Marco Tezza, conductor & piano solo. FEATURING SPECIAL GUESTS: Domenico Nordio, solo violin on Schindler's List; Mara Comellato, flute; Antonio Graziani, clarinet; Mirko Bellucco, trumpet; Benedetta Botter, voice; Graziano Zuin and Gino Schipillitti, guitars; Paolo Vidaich, percussions; Alessandro Piovan, drums. The generations of composers who have grown both with and for the cinema, and who have ended up being completely identified to it or to certain film directors, can only confirm the need for a serious school where the principles of the art of composing can be given so that images may remain forever within music, within a melody, a timbre or a chord, and that they may instantly penetrate that moment on film. Writing for the cimema has also become a way to break up or reduce the 20th century waste, that was created by both contemporary composers and the public, by facing the problem that communication between the artist and the listener must be made easier, bearing in mind that the music being composed will within no time at any reach a very wide audience. This Cd is an impressive example of that: the music written by the gretest author of all time, such as Ennio Morricone, Henry Mancini, John Williams, Alan Menken, Alan Silvestri, Astor Piazzolla take us through the magic world of memorable stories and images.
