The project Wild Sound intends to emphasize the essential and wilder side of making music: the Francesco Pinetti Ensemble counts eight musicians (most of them really young) who firmly believe in this aspect of art and life is a perfect example of this choice. The arrangements of the pieces, too peculiar to be labelled under any musical trend or influence, confer to each of them a special and unique spirit that always evokes:
1. the "natural" sound of the ensemble and the tone that emerges from the splendid fusion of the different instruments;
2. the "wild" side of the sound, always performed with an eye on the core of the musical composition and on its basics.
The listeners will not be able to keep away from the temptation of penetrating this sort of wild garden (neither hostile nor dangerous) in order to find a dimension of essentiality and share the sensation of freedom that only such a natural music is capable of inspiring. One of the pieces, for example, consists only of the pure melody chanted by a blackbird in spring (Merland). An easy way of approaching to music, then, that will not fail to impress the wildest side of those who will dare to listen to it.
