En su cuarto trabajo discográfico, todos realizados con mi etiqueta Velut Luna y conmigo como productor, la joven y brillante cantante padovana aborda ya en plena madurez artística y vocal su “territorio de elección” en el que ha trabajado a lo largo de su trayectoria académica y que ha practicado en muchas ocasiones de conciertos. El repertorio de este disco presenta algunos famosísimos estándares, como la pista principal o Round Midnight, pero también una originalísima excursión en el célebre tema de Astor Piazzolla, libertango, al que la misma Chiara aporta un fascinante texto inédito. Y luego, una de sus composiciones originales, escrita con Enrico Santacatterina, Just A Smile, que es su caballo de batalla en el área pop, por así decirlo, hoy reinterpretado en clave de estándar jazz. Un disco completo y maduro, que se ve realzado por la sabiduría pianística, el gusto exquisito, aderezado con una técnica admirable de Francesco Pollon, quizás el pianista de jazz italiano más representativo de la joven generación, que actualmente vive y trabaja en Nueva York, después de haber obtenido allí un prestigioso máster en la Manhattan School Of Music - Jazz Arts.
